Case Study Overview

Mojang Studios and Warner Bros. needed a world-first live streamed film premiere that felt authentic and engaging to the Minecraft community. The challenge: balance cinematic red-carpet spectacle with creator-led content, integrate Twitch and TikTok seamlessly, and capture both Hollywood stars and gaming culture in one unified, fan-first experience.

ADVNCR partnered with Liquid Media and Sassy+ to produce a 2.5-hour livestream from Leicester Square, London. Hosted by creators TommyInnit and CaptainSparklez, the stream mixed celebrity cast interviews, live DLC gameplay, and unscripted creator banter. A custom-built “First Night Shelter” set merged Minecraft nostalgia with premiere glamour. The broadcast deployed a full OB multicam unit, motion graphics, Twitch overlays, and TikTok-native integration, ensuring seamless delivery across platforms.
