Athletes, Streamers, and Pro Gamers clash in the first ever Battle Royale tournament for US Network TV! With the goal of highly entertaining gaming programming for the worldwide leader in sports, ADVNCR was ESPN’s choice as their trusted go-to partner for their first ever Pro-Am. ESPN and ABC commissioned our team to conceptualize, plan, and produce the live 60 player event and 2-hour TV special for their new EXP esports brand. This was also the first ever on-location live Battle Royale event for EA’s Apex Legends franchise.
With our years of experience to guide all aspects of the show, ADVNCR worked diligently with the broadcaster (ESPN/ABC), publisher (EA), and developer (Respawn), to ensure this premiere event was delivered with the level of quality and polish of top tier sporting events on ABC and ESPN. We created a live event with celebrities, influencers, pro-players, NBA and NFL stars that resonated with both the audience and our clients. Our team utilized player entrances, explanatory VTs, replays and on screen graphics, alongside best in class gameplay coverage to deliver a combination of entertaining and authentic gaming.
