Case Study Overview
As part of the D23 Expo, Disney’s ultimate fan event, the Disney Games & Digital Entertainment division wanted to create their first ever Games Showcase in 2022, premiering a host of exclusive gaming content from the worlds of Star Wars, Pixar, Marvel, and Disney. For the inaugural showcase, Disney Games needed a digital-first product that could through the noise and engage gamers and Disney fans alike with authenticity, immediacy and real substance.
ADVNCR was responsible for developing and executing the full showcase. From art direction and design, to writing, producing, and casting the livestream and branding elements, including all social and promotional assets. We led coordination with Disney internal teams and licensees to manage project timelines to ensure all content was ready to be syndicated across the entirety of the Disney ecosystem and to all third-party media partners. Host Blessing Adeoye Jr. was a perfect fit and the livestream went off flawlessly. ADVNCR delivered the show across 12 different Disney owned channels and 11 co-hosts, including the first ever live execution for Disney games on Steam offering fans a chance to wishlist new games.
